Corzine Wants All N.J. Bridges Inspected Immediately

TRENTON, NJ – Gov. Jon S. Corzine called Thursday for inspections of the state’s 6,400 bridges following the collapse of an interstate bridge in Minnesota that sent vehicles plummeting into the Mississippi River.

“The lesson of the tragedy of Minneapolis is vigilance. We must ensure we are doing everything we can to protect the public,” Corzine said.
